Various areas in this facility, such as the building entrance, path of travel to guest check-in, [path of travel to guestrooms, and the pool area] meet 2010 ADA standards for accessible design.] This facility is an “existing facility “under the Americans with Disabilities Act and guest rooms do not meet current accessibility standards. Entrance door to elevator measure 36 inches clear (non-mechanical). Elevator access to all floors. Doorways to guest rooms measure 36 inches clear, doorways to bedrooms measures 30 inches clear, doorways to bathrooms measure 28 inches clear, toilets are 18 inches in height and showers are not wheelchair accessible. Balcony floor track measures 3 ½ inches in height. All unit doors have lever handles. The loft one-bedroom units have stairs that consist of 16 steps. Unit 104, a one-bedroom unit has stairs consisting of 7 steps to a raised balcony. Gates to spa area measure 36 inches clear, spa bathroom door measure 36 inches clear. The Spa is equipped with an ADA Chair lift. All of our guest rooms include closed captioning available on the TVs, and upon request, we will provide an ADA compliant shower stool, an ADA compliant raised toilet seat with support arm rails and secure locking, and a hearing-impaired smoke detector.
