Accessibility
Various areas in this facility, such as the path of travel to guest check-in (33 inches clear) and the path of travel to the pool area (31 inches) may meet 2010 ADA standards for accessible design. This facility is an “existing facility” under the Americans with Disabilities Act and guest rooms do not meet current accessibility standards. Although some of the measurements throughout the resort may exceed those disclosed here, the smallest measurements are as follows: doorways to the guest rooms measure 33 inches clear; doorways to the bathrooms measure at least 23 inches clear; doorways to bedrooms measure at least 31 inches clear. Toilets are at least 16 inches in height and showers are not wheelchair accessible. All our guest rooms include closed captioning available on the TV’s. The following items are in limited supplies, so reservations are required to assure availability: an ADA compliant shower stool, an ADA compliant raised toilet seat with support arm rails and secure locking, and a hearing-impaired smoke detector.
