Dear Roy:

My name is Jeffrey Spiro and I am a member of the Board of Directors at The Village of Loon Mountain. I have been asked to write this letter, on behalf of the board, to express our unanimous opinion of Scott Dravis and the job he has done for us.

At a recent board meeting, we spent considerable time discussing how we were going to apply approximately $220,000.00 of un-budgeted income as a result of our recent agreement with Vacation Internationale (VI).

The fact that we even had this discussion is, in part, the reason for this letter. We have come a long way! It wasn't long ago that we were struggling with running out of money for the year in August, with not having enough to pay tax bills, etc.

When you have success, there is plenty of 'credit' for the success that can be shared. We, the Board, (both past and present members) deserve some of the credit. Our current and immediate past Resort Managers also deserve their share of credit. However, we do recognize that the most significant component of our success has to be you, Vacation Resorts International (VRI) and, more specifically, your agent, the Director of Resorts, Scott Dravis.

Scott has been working with us since April 4, 1998. During these years we have found him to be reliable, professional, capable and dedicated. He has led us through times of intensity and through times of a daily grind.

Certainly our most intense situation came when one of our buildings burnt down. It was a period of time when coordination of builders, public adjustors, Insurance adjustors and our own staff was needed. Scott handled the task with determination, skill and aplomb. As a result, our physical plant has emerged better than it had ever been.

When the potential selling of units to Vacation Internationale presented itself, we were skeptical as to where Scott's allegiance would be as he was both our agent as well as an employee of VRI. However, during the many, many phone calls that inevitably took place during the course of a somewhat prolonged negotiation, Scott, while walking a very narrow tight rope, never failed to show that he indeed represented us.

The goal of our board has been to be fiscally prudent while improving the quality of our resort. Nevertheless, when we drifted away from our goal, there was Scott to redirect us. Keeping within our budget was another expectation of the board. Scott managed to keep our Resort Managers on their toes.

We understand that Scott has recently been promoted to Vice President within VRI. We feel that this promotion is well deserved and, if anything, long over due. We congratulate both Scott on his promotion and you on your wisdom to make it.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Spiro, Ph.D.
For the Board
