Lake Placid is Fun

Best things about resort - This was our 44th exchange. The 2 bedroom unit was by far one of the Best we have ever had, large livingroom, diningroom, kitchen, bath and bedrooms. A little off the beaten path but walkable to the main street. Best attractions or restaurants nearby - The Olympic history is very well done. Be sure to see the Hockey venue, ski jumps and bob sled run.

Good restaurants and micro brewries on main street along with nice shops.

We were there a little early in Sept. 2006 for the color change but, the weather was beautiful with clear skys and crisp cool days.
