INSURANCE ALLIANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT

Through our alliance with the Tutton Armstrong Insurance Group, VRI is able to provide various insurance programs.

  • OSHA -- VRI has extensive experience in assisting resorts to comply with state OSHA requirements, which enables VRI to give timely, relevant advice on safety and OSHA issues.

    Having adequate insurance is the first step in securing the property's longevity. However, you must also have "Risk Management" programs to reduce injury, damage to the facility, and potential lawsuits. Vacation Resorts International strives to keep all insurance claims to a minimum in order to save the client insurance premiums. Through Armstrong Insurance, VRI will provide:
  • Assistance in designing and implementing an emergency plan.
  • Evaluation and analysis of your claim records and identification of any potential problem areas to correct those areas of concern.
  • Evaluation of security systems.

TELEPHONE SERVICES

By forming an alliance with the world's largest telephone companies, VRI is able to offer discounted rates on inbound calls, outbound calls, and calling card calls through its worldwide program.

  • VRI is able to provide substantial savings on all inbound and outbound billed calls by combining bills with other VRI affiliated locations. Current rates as low as 3.5 cents per minute for direct calls.

MCI

VRI's system 9900 technology runs seamlessly over MCI's world-class, high speed Internet and data networks. This alliance with a leading facilities-based global communications provider enables VRI to provide cost-effective, advanced communication solutions to its U.S. and international clients that include: High performance, reliable global communication solutions; value-priced for respective resorts including Vacation Resorts International and their end-users. Access to secure, global data serviced including frame relay, ATM, wireless, IP, and satelite connectivity. A choice between outsourcing their networking needs to MCI or managing their data networks in-house.

SOUTHERN DATACOMM

In conjunction with Vacation Resorts International's System 9900 and Southern DataComm, VRI is able to offer a one-step credit card processing service. This program is fully automated and integrated into the System 9900. And, due to the large volume of transactions, VRI is able to offer attractive discount rates.

  • Full data capture.
  • One-step processing for assessment payments, guest charges, and advance room deposits.
  • Discounted merchant rates, currently as low as 1.87%.

Approximately every 18 months, VRI's managers and senior staff meet for several days to discuss ongoing operations statistics and to review specific vendors and services. We are commited to improving what we do every day.
